Congratulations on finishing the 2015/2016 school year at Franklin Magnet Elementary!
We wanted to take a moment and thank you for an amazing year. Not only have you worked hard to support your student and their teachers, but you have done an incredible job supporting our school.
This year we raised $170,000 through various fundraisers, Corporate Matches, and Corporate Donations.
We had the Funds Drive, the Spelling Bee, the Jump-a-thon, and the Silent Auction.
Your volunteerism and funding has helped us pay for:
Amity Interns, The Music Program, Gardening, A New Kiln, Classroom Supplies, and a variety of programs (Yearbook, Film Festival, Science Fair, Robotics,).
These programs would not be possible without your help and support. We hope you had a great year. We feel fortunate to have you in our family.
Thank you for your continued service and support to our school. We are already looking forward to a great 2016/2017 school year! Please let us know if you have any ideas or suggestions to make next year even better.

The Benjamin Franklin Elementary Foundation has been awarded a $1 Million grant from the competitive Prop 84 Urban Greening Grant Program for Sustainable Communities. The plan for Franklin will significantly improve our campus and community by transforming it from a sea of asphalt into a vibrant, sustainable, shaded environment that not only students, but the neighborhood can enjoy and benefit from. Construction for our new sustainable campus will be concurrent with the construction of our new building.
